AASCW contracts with supportive professional services with licensed providers to support family caregivers (see Caregiver Support – Family Caregivers’ Support Program). Services typically include counseling services, massage services, and similar ways of helping family caregivers. These are non-Medicaid services.
AASCW uses a “Micro Contract,” which authorizes services for one client and includes an invoice the providers use to submit their invoices directly to AASCW.
The providers must be licensed to provide the services, and willing to undergo an online criminal history background check.
