Free Healthy Aging and Falls Prevention Programs – Adults Age 60 and Older
Fall prevention is crucial because falls are the leading cause of injury-related deaths, hospitalizations, and emergency department visits for adults age 65 and older. Preventing falls helps maintain independence, mobility, and mental health, as falls often cause serious injuries like hops fractures and head trauma that lead to long-term disability or loss of independence.
