AASCW: Legal Assistance Services funded by the Older Americans Act:
Effective June 30, 2025, AASCW will no longer offer Senior Legal Advice Clinics (SLAC) services.
Our service focus has been readjusted to align with the Older Americans Act and the mission of AASCW, which is dedicated to supporting older adults who face significant social and economic challenges to help them maintain their independence at home and within their communities. Key services include legal assistance with issues related to housing, denial of benefits, health care, abuse, neglect, utilities, and more.
AASCW contracts with Northwest Justice Project (NJP) to provide these important services to low-income older adults (age 60+) and Tribal Elders (age 55+). Below is the contact information for NJP:
